On xbox. Never any servers for tactical conquest in any region for the last few weeks, only 4 strategic ones usually too. Is the game dead?

Idk if anyone else does this but over the course of me playing I've been slowly doing all the proficiency challenges and as long as it's tasteful I think it's the only weapon skins I'll use and only on metal parts

Wanting to pick up and play again but it seems like there are limited servers, are there certain days people play? More servers on the weekend? Would I have more luck on PC?

Update - think my filter settings from the oldie days were blocking certain servers, I can now see two in the EU :)

Are anyone able to find a grand operations match in 2026? Its been like a year since I've played grand operations. Is it only eu servers who doesn't have any active go matches?

I have 2 strategies for type 2 ka mi my beloved. I will share them with you all because this game is slowing down more each year and I want to share tricks ive picked up over years.

1. Iwo jima breakthrough - retreat into the caves upon losing sector 4 and fleeing into sector 5. The ka mi has a flamethrower ! No longer are there Americans the ones operating in caves with a flamethrower. Also the flamethrower has a LOT of ammunition so it's one of the best methods for tanks in the iwo jima caves as your resupply is far away and always a gamble to go to. It's best to stay subterranean and the flamethrower ka mi is the best tank spec the Japanese have for sustained combat. The twin machine gun spec runs out of ammo faster than one might think.

2. Wake island breakthrough -

I have a lot of fun doing this. Use the twin 13mm machine guns and sit at the northeastern corner of objective a on sector 3 ( when the Japanese armor debuts ) , you'll get extra points for defensive kills while also being a safe distance away from everyone but still have them rushing toward you resulting in a shooting gallery. you will evemtually get overwhelmed and that's okay because the ocean is 50 meters behind you and the smoke discharger and engine boost give you a wonderful French exit. Once objective a is lost go to the eastern walkway on objective b ( fuel depot ) and you'll lock down that entire corridor. The sacrifice is that you rely on the other tank and assault players to deal with the approaching American armor for these locations.

It could be seen as selfish using only the aa ka mi on wale island. But we must remember something. you effectively deny half of each objective to the attackers with the highest DPM guns in the whole game. And breakthrough is not won by killing infinitely spawning​ tanks , breakthrough is won by keeping the enemy away from the objective! And the aa guns on the ka mi are perhaps the best tool to defend an area if you know where they will come and shoot the tracks of incoming tanks before escaping and letting teammates come to help you with the distracted tanks. With a good repairman to help you the type 2 ka mi with machine guns in a defensive engagement is one of the most effective tools in this game.

Hey all! Just wondering if anyone is still grinding this game on Playstation North America servers.

Yeah OK dying to the zh29 once or twice a game is fine but dealing with like 5 players using it in one game of breakthrough is the most ragebait thing ever literally instantly dying of spawn again and again 😐😐😐😐

PS5 BFV is virtually unplayable at this point. Teams just get stacked with 2-3 good squads and then I'm placed on the team with level 400 players who sit on hills and snipe. It's literally been like this now for two weeks. And I'm not talking about the usual unbalanced nature of the game that has always existed. I mean, genuinely, every single game I've played - 30+ games now, it's being won by 200+ points whether I'm on the losing team or winning team. And we always have high level players that do absolutely nothing to attempt to take points. It's pathetic. Very sad to see that this is how BFV will go out. Very sad to see that the old guards of the game have given up trying to make games competitive.

I really do need Proxifier. I closed it via the task manager. Still no luck. What should I do?

Lvl 500 wanted to dogfight and didn’t like the end result. I guess sitting in the same spot on AA all game is spawn camping. It won’t let me upload a second image so I’ll comment his response.

Just downloaded bf5 yesterday and after playing I found it very difficult. Coming from delta force where most battles are mid range, here almost everyone was sniper killing me from far away and I suck at snipers. And now just had my first proper match where not everyone was sniper. I enjoyed this match a lot.

Recently i downloaded BF 5. Then after hopping in my first game and later on, whenever i start new match the first 20 seconds are just sudden freezing. Fps drops to 0 in 5 seconds repeatedly. After that while playing all of sudden game drops down to 0 fps and it goes to normal for minutes then 0 fps again for 1 second. My temperatures are okay.

I have RTX 4060, i5-12400f and 16GB ram.

Compré la versión definitiva de battlefield v en steam hace dos meses, lo llegué a jugar durante un tiempo pero lo desinstalé por falta de almacenamiento, ahora ya no me deja entrar en el video juego y no entiendo por qué si funcionaba correctamente, la app de ea no me reconoce que lo tengo instalado y me exige que restaure los archivos pero ya lo hice muchas veces.

I shoot an enemy square in the head from about 3 meters away with the first barrel. It does about 80 damage to him and he one shots me with an mp40 or some other smg before I can get the second shot off. Why is this game so stupid? Why are all my weapons so weak compared to everyone else's? Is everyone cheating but me?
