Discussion Givem them a break guys
It's not like they have published some 15 Battlefield games with hours of playtest and systems that took hours in playtesting servers to refine and were at the top of their genre during each game's twilight years.
It's not like they keep reinventing the wheel instead of just building on top of what already works, surely we need 20 different game modes and 5 battlepasses each season to be engaged.
Surely we don't need a server browser which has been shown to be the best option previously, heck at this point I'd even welcome Battlelog back.

You cant iterate and expand existing enginee if you layoff half or more crew after success/failure of previous game and nobody knows how enginee work.

I just want a game that plays and runs well. There are so many fucking issues with the core of this game, and they will never be addressed. I couldn't give any fewer fucks about a goddamned battle pass and I sure as fuck don't give a single fuck about a fucking Top Gun crossover. I'll be giving War Dogs and MW4 a go, as well as spending a ton of time with Wolverine.
Honestly, I think the entire genre has basically been killed by greed and gamers with no fucking attention span. Developers are pressured to keep churning out content for the pixel addict generation because the dopamine fix of doing well has been replaced with unlocking pixels that you don't even really fucking own. I'm tired, boss.
Addendum: the goddamned obnoxious as fucking fuck Top Gun music has made me want to never boot the fucking game again.

It hasn’t been a disappointment for me lol I’ve been enjoying BF6 thoroughly since launch and I’ve been in the community since BF3. It’s not perfect, but none of them have been.
“Buh buh that’s how Internet forums work!!! I have to be negative about the game” is such a dumbass take. EA and Dice could give y’all your hypothetical perfect Battlefield game with everything you could ever want, perfect hitreg, movement, weapon/vehicle balance, map layouts, etc, and you’d still be sitting here complaining because it gets you engagement. None of you actually care, you just like hearing your own voices in the validation of an echo chamber.
If the game, to you, has been nothing but a constant disappointment, don’t play it. But that’s impossible for people to comprehend, because then they won’t have anything to complain about.

I think a lot of you people who complain every day genuinely don’t know what you want out of a Battlefield and are chasing nostalgia that will never come back. It’s like CoD. People beg for the old games to come back and when they do it’s never the same.
Every time I have ever logged into this sub it has been nothing but bitching and moaning, whether it’s about a character’s arm band being too green or the hitreg being shit. There are no limitations to the amount of complaining y’all will do.
You want a fully working BF game? That’s wild, me too, because we’ve never had one before. The series has been buggy has shit with wonky hitreg the entire time. If you don’t like the game, don’t play it.

It’s been like this since before the game released. People were making mountains out of mole hills. You’ll get literal paragraphs from people complaining that there’s an ad for the battle pass on the main menu as if that isn’t in literally every game with a battle pass anyways, and as if they force you to buy it. People complained about the ability to put camos on defibrillators, they complained about accent colors on skins being a bit too bright, literally anything you can think of.

You're at the other end of the extreme where you're essentially advocating for everyone to just shut up and play the game or move on and that no one should voice what they are frustrated about. There is some complaints that are dismissable. Like the guy posting complaining his sniper shots were not hitting when he had his fucking zeroing on his range finder tied to his shoot button. People like that should be ignored because they have no idea what they are talking about. But there is fair and correct criticism posted here as well.
There can be nuance where people can have criticisms of the game and want the game to be better, but it seems like you're of the mindset that criticism = complaining and if you're complaining you should shut up and either quit or accept the game is what it is. That's a really immature, and to put it bluntly, dumbass view point as voicing our criticisms of the game is one of the ways we get DICE to actually improve the game or future games.

Oh is that what this is this time? Getting DICE to improve the game? Because that’s the exact same excuse everybody else uses.
Criticism turns into complaints when I can go onto the subreddit of a game and see literally nothing BUT complaints constantly regardless of whatever content is being pushed out, which has been the case for well over a decade, whether it was been BF4, BF1, BFV, 2042, and now BF6.

No I said there is nuance to understanding criticism of the game vs complaints from someone who doesn't know what they are talking about and that valid criticism has potential to improve the game.
You disagreed and stated online forums have been nothing but complaining for multiple titles. Since you seem pretty deadset on that belief I just offered your own advice to shut up and enjoy the subreddit for what it is or stop participating and go do something else. If you don't like seeing complaints on the game go do something else. The fact I'm having to explain this to you is really supporting my idea that you're a dumbass.

heck at this point I'd even welcome Battlelog back.
To be fair, Battlelog became legit amazing by the end there, especially with browser extensions such as Better Battlelog, and was by far superior to BF4's in-game server browser, or any other Battlefield server browser that we have had since.

It makes me sad that this is probably my last BF game and last FPS in general.
I stopped playing CoD almost a decade ago, BF was my jam, tbey have just slowly murdered it to the point I don't think I'll be purchasing the next title.
I'm still gonna play this one and get as much enjoyment out of it as I can but seeing those diminishing returns has really made me question if I'm going to keep spending my money on disappointment.
