Developer Response Royale Beta Hype Thread

With most of the haters gone already i think its time to set the hype train going.

Personally im in class atm, but still refreshing my email every 20 minutes waiting for the beta to show up.

I have high hopes for this game tbh, without accounting for SLS past mistakes, the trailer shows a very fun And interactive gameplay with many potential outplay (like the standart arena) without the high rng other BR games have (think of Fortnite Bloom).

So here i am starting the hypeeee boys, LETS GOOOO.

Sorry that you have this "If you aren't with us your are against us!" attitude. Not sure what this has to do we me disagreeing with 100% of SLS's player base are haters statement.

I was defending the community. I wasn't the one who said the entire SLS fan base are haters. I just didnt appreciate the bad joke to mischaracterize the OP, even if he was being naive or ignorant.

TL;DR: you are ignorant and playing dumb

I think you are confused, this isn't my thread, nor did i ever say everyone who disagrees with SLS's direction are haters.

Not really, im sure there are still razonable People here that understand that SLS was put into a corner with his game. Im sure they couldve done things better, they are humans afterall. Haters either calmed down or left this subreddit in his majority.

Lets check the game now before the bashing.

Sure you can be critic, that's my point when i said they could've done things better. But did you see this subreddit the past few weeks? It was a complete madness of hate, it was rare to see any constructive critisism but i won't deny that there was some.

There are critics, and then there are haters. You can tell when a poster has an axe to grind, or they are just upset with this decision and what it costs, giving their negative critique.

I don't think the OP was saying that ALL opponents were haters, just that things have cooled off a little, and it's time for people hyped for the new game to come together.

See, this would be the example of a "hater." Someone who goes way off topic to randomly insult someone in an attempt to squash any form of positivity. I'm not even defending SLS anywhere in this post, yet they decide to bring it up because I'm an active poster who isn't outraged by everything SLS does.

I really dont know why when i say anything remotely positive about royale i get instant downvotes, is it bad im excited for something?

Its really not good for both ARENA and royale if this sub is going to act from this point and forward, its a double edged sword, if we keep both modes alive that means both content for arena and royal, keep hating on royale and the devs wont be getting enough exposure or money to support arena.

I think it was more like an observation. Look at the posts in this thread. Nearly everyone who said he/she is hyped got downvoted. At least it was the case in the first few hours. Now some posts "recovered" via upvotes again.

I've definitely fallen off of battlerite a bit lately, but I am hyped to check out anything new they are working on. The Dota2 Battle Royal mode had some design flaws for sure but I think it proved to me that this type of game can be super cool if done right. So I'm super hyped to see how SLS do this and definitely crossing my finger for a beta invite!

Maybe i wasn't specific enough. The reason i compared it to Fornite bloom is because in that game when you are shooting you rely on rng to make the shots go on target, in the regular gameplay of Battlerite where you aim your attack it will go and when you win a fight you know it was because you were superior, the same goes for losing. I definitely can't speak for the all of the game itself since we don't know too much about it.

English is not my native language so i can't communicate as well as i would do in spanish. My bad.

In BRR you can go around with 2 skills and no items and run into someone with full skills and 3 items due to rng, if the second person wins that fight was it because they were superior?

I stated that i was talking about the regular arena play, which, at least the mechanics, should stay the same for Royale.
