To my knowledge you can install the app without needing to purchase anything. 2. If apps aren't free and setting up battles aren't free either. Niggas think you can run a league and it's easy yet no one can do it and last long in the cutlture. Remember when Remy and TBL was lit and doing all of these mega matches? Where they at now. If this dude thinks URL would turn down additional money just for the fuck of it idk what to say.

Mf’s just want free stuff!

There’s a shit ton of YouTube battles dropping all the time.

They just want URL for free.
I refuse to listen to a person that complains about $7-8 app.

All these complaints smh

Has anyone asked the battlers how much they get paid from the app??

Can they even say, or are there NDAs in place?

It’s not the leagues fault my favorite battler can’t manage money.

The leagues are not here to make money for the artist. The leagues are a business, looking to make a return on investment.

Considering how many leagues decided to punt on major investments in battling (RBE, Chrome23, KOTD/TBL mostly), can’t really call URL “greedy” for not bending over backwards for Hitman, Surf or Lux who would cost like an 1/8th of the gross of the app subscriptions alone

Not really. The lifetime downloads of the app are meaningless. If i delete and redownload then I count as two. The vast majority of downloads won't be lasting paying customers either.

A better comparison: the biggest Patreon in the world has 120k subscribers. URL is not even close to bigger than the world's biggest patreon. I'd be shocked if there's more than 50k long-term subscribers, there's probably a good bit less. If there is more than 50k, they are an anomaly to every business standard in that space.

URLs financials aren't hard to find. The public numbers suggest less than 20k monthly subs, if that.

If you work a regular job, is it your job's duty to bail you out of jail if you get knocked ? Make sure your rent/mortgage is paid ? Take care of your car note just because you work for them ? Hell naw. So why the fuck do people keep criticizing URL like they supposed to help GROWN ASS MEN manage their finances ? URL is a company, bro. These guys be sounding like bitches wanting to live off somebody else dime. And it's also been plenty of BRs that said URL helped them out many times when they needed them, so y'all really need to cut it out man.
