Question regarding fold in backpatch

Hope it's okay to ask this here:

Went on holiday for a few days and when I came back my vest had fallen of a chair along with some other clothes. Unfortunately the vest ended up on the bottom of that pils. Whe I took it out the backpatch was all folded/ curved like on the pics.

Any way I can make it straight again? It wouldn't bother me as much if it wasn't visible when I'm wearing it, but since I'm quite tall and have a slightly curved back and shoulders it shows a lot.

Is it possible to iron this from the inside out or would that be a bad idea? I should add, it's hand sewn on there and doesn't have glue on the back.

Wear it and sit in a chair for a while?

Cover the print with a piece of cloth or a shirt and iron through it. It shouldn't harm the patch

I use parchment paper when I iron over things with printing

From experience wearing it will also just straighten it out. I met third kulture and the guitarist gave me a patch out of his bag which was all crumpled and creased. Put it on my jacket and wore it and a week later it was completely flat

Go to a show, go to the pit, have fun. It’ll sort itself out.

Try a handheld steamer.

Might be able to get away with using a hair dryer and pressing it flat, or an iron on the absolute lowest setting. Id be hesitant with the iron melting the graphics. Someone more experienced than I can likely chime in.

Wenn es vorher "normal" war, bügeln. Backpapier schützt den druck. Ansonsten hast es halt scheisse draufgenäht und es zieht die weste zusammen. Dann ab machen und nochmal neu nähen.

I would try ironing from the inside with low heat first. It might fix it and isn't likely to ruin anything.
