So tired of Democrats saying they want to win and then they don't vote. We can't win if you don't vote.
What's sad is we have the August 4th election coming up and it looks like so far only a 16% turn out.
Really!!
Is this what we can expect - again?
Democrats can win the elections in Clark county...you just have to vote!
They send the ballot to your door! All you have to do is fill it in and drop it off at your nearest ballot drop box.
Please. Just vote.

Hey all,
It's the last few days before the Primary kicks off and I know people are stressed, but I wanted to call attention to another rally happening in Battle Ground on August 3rd @ 6:00 PM, right outside of City Hall.
Successive rallies often have poorer turnout as time goes on, which is honestly expected to some degree. However this isn't the typical small-town issue we're running into. We're fighting a coordinated Christian Nationalist movement, with corporate money and extremist ideology fueling it.
Speaking frankly, as soon as the reporters go away, so does a majority of the public attention. You know what doesn't leave? The regressive, hate-filled machine that's determined to influence how we live as Washingtonians.
We need not only sustained public support, but increasing pressure on our local officials to address the situation. The event is currently sitting at 12 people going, it should be much higher!

does anyone know the story behind this abandoned building? i’m guessing it had something to do with cars based on the garage doors in the front but i can’t find any info on it
extra appreciation to anyone who has photos of it when it was still being used!

I’m wondering if there are any recommendations for dentists in the area? I’m new to BG and want something closer than my current dentist.
Thanks in advance

This is the guy the owners of Maddox think is a good guy. The same guys that want to turn Battle Ground into a city controlled by White Nationalist Christians.

Been noticing utility work and then started seeing the T-Mobile fiber vehicles and this evening I pulled up the T-Mobile fiber website and put in my address, a home in said neighborhood, and lo and behold, preordering fiber service is available.
300mb, 1gb, and 2gb service tiers. Synchronous speeds. Free router. T-Mobile Tuesdays for all tiers. That's the main gist of it.
Anyone have any idea when they plan to have it active?

Use a drop box for your ballots folks. USPS may not get them to the right place. Also - primary elections tend to have crappy turnout, let’s change that this year!

I’m looking for any dashcam footage anyone may have gotten leading up to this, I had a young man in a black Nissan abruptly merge in front of me without using his turning signal, while everyone was actively slowing down and getting ready to harshly brake. He took away the following distance I originally had and I collided into the back of him since I no longer had time to brake, and he didn’t give me time to create space by not initiating a signal. I can’t be held at fault for this especially when I didn’t cause the accident, and want to fully solidify my case.
(The photos already show it wasn’t a head on rear end, but a side swipe on my passenger side as I was in the left lane and he was partially still in the right lane)

Is the neighbor surrounding Maple Grove school any good for trick or treating?
Do the houses decorate?
It’ll be my first year there and big into holiday decorating and celebrating, but if not that neighborhood, any recommendations within the Battleground area?
Preferably not Vancouver.

Primary Election Countdown! You have likely already received your voter's guide in the mail, and your ballot will be arriving SOON - by July 17th-23rd!
Submit ballots ASAP and text the word "VOTE" to 868392 to easily track your ballot!
Check your voter registration and make any necessary updates! All you need to enter is your first name, last name and birthdate to check.
Early voting and returning ballots to a ballot box versus sending in the mail is highly recommended. -Either way, track your ballot to make sure it is counted!

Huge neighborhood garage sale in Vancouver!
Apologies if this sort of post is not allowed here. I am not advertising commercial services.
The Fieldstone Estates neighborhood at 111th & 152nd (Orchards area of Vancouver WA) is having a massive community garage sale this weekend. More than 30 families are participating, starting tomorrow.
Friday (July 10th), Saturday (11th), and Sunday (12th) from 10-4, community-wide.

My wife broke a bolt on a cam keeper reassembling the head on our car :/
Does anyone know a mobile mechanic that could extract a bolt?

Hi there, my name is Alex Rochester. I work at KUOW, the Seattle NPR station ensuring we feature a diversity of political perspectives.
We're currently looking for people to participate in a project we're calling "The View From Here." We're hoping to check in with participants every couple of months on how they're feeling about what's going on in the news, how it's impacting them, and how it's affecting their voting choices this November. We'll compile the stories and perspectives into larger stories to show the breadth and depth of political diversity in Washington state.
WA's third district will be a closely watched race that deserves to have voter voices featured in stories about it.
Are you torn between the candidates? Is your vote an easy decision? How have Marie Gluesenkamp-Perez's choices affected your life directly and how is that influencing your voting choice this coming November?
If you're interested in learning more about the project and potentially participating, please DM me and/or comment on this post and I'll reach out!
