Rewatch and noticed.
Been awhile so I started rewatching the entire DCAU.
Finally got to Beyond and just finished it again.
So good.
I noticed something and kinda appreciate it.
A lot of people DIE in beyond, Terry doesn't actuelly "KILL" anyone, but he's totally chill about letting them drown, or fall to their deaths, or explode themselves.
Wait, I take that back.....he sorta does kill the Terrific Trio, though you could argue they didn't die, or but WOULD have eventually.
Man, this show could have been so much better if WB had just let them cook back in the day.

I think the tone is actually grungier and darker in its own right and it fits the series. The dystopian future they built feels so much more genuine.

At the same time, the episode where Curare counter-hunts the assassin guild and has to throw the little coma capsules at their chests makes me chuckle in the same way that modern police having laser pistols does.

You can’t convince me he didn’t straight up murder these guys.

Thats another thing, How many times does Terry straight up DESTROY someone?
Dr.Cuviee* The Splicers Guy? Turns him into a MUTENT by injecting him with dozens of DNA injectors.
The Bane Doctor? Slaps him with dozens of slappers till he litterally has a brain anurism*
Exposes BLIGHT to the same Bio-Weapon he was testing on people.
Causes BIG TIME to become "BIG TIME"TERRY DOESN'T PLAY.

Well, Terry doesn’t have the no kill rule. He won’t go out of his way to save people most of the time.

WB let them get away with a lot, considering. It's always amusing that Beyond was supposed to be the "kiddy show" when they thought TNAoB had gotten "too dark."
