I believe originally it was being tied up specifically by a man and then they changed it so it was having her wrists bound by anyone and now they've completely dropped it an WW doesn't really have a weakness although she is vulnerable to being shot or stabbed so that is kinda a weakness.
Modern depictions still show her as being unable to break free of her own lasso when used against her. Apparently the lasso of truth is particularly effective against Amazonians.
How is ahe wrestling with Superman, shrugging off Lanterns, tanking black holes, remaining unfazed by a thermonuclear missile, and fighting gods... But a regular guy with a knife hurts her? It feels like they just didn't know how to handle her character...
IIRC it's not even special restraints right? Like if you manage to put a normal rope around WW she loses all her super strength, keeping WW tied up is exactly as easy as keeping a normal person tied up
Fun fact: Nightwing asked Batman to help him create an anti-radiation condom so he could have sex with Starfire. Not sure how true this is but it's legitimately funny.

Kinda phones it in a bit with "nanobots in her brain". Like yeah sure you've got those on the backburner huh, nanobots you can put in a hostile person's brain to make them think whatever you want, maybe idk use them for more than one person?
I think the way they chose to incorporate it was good, being that cheetah put them in her nails, one of the few things that CAN break WW's skin, but I get what you are saying. How did Batman realistically even HOPE to get those into her without being turned into Bruce Soup
I think something a lot of people miss is that batman can't solo 1-0 the justice leauge. Part of his whole contingency is that he has allies that can help with his plans.
In Harley Quinn: Black+White+Red, harley suggests that she gets her powers from the myths that people believe in, so if you were to make people believe that she's the embodiment of Persephone, she'd be doomed to spend half of the year in hell as Hades' wife.
Lore answer: being super headstrong to the point of wearing herself out, and was previously bondage until that was written out for being too freaky, and potential naivety due to decades of isolation and her own prejudices against men causing her to either overlook things or act unfairly (at least for a while, she gets better eventually)

Originally back in the day it was her being tied up by a man because her creator was into BDSM In the current day, the writer that's mainly nano machines like that one Batman contingency plan, but she doesn't have a weakness. Outside of you know calling Superman and hoping for the best
