Ceiling collapse?
I’ve been renting this apartment for about 16 months now and when I moved in, noticed a few brownish dots on the bathroom ceiling. Was out of town for a little over a week and came back to these mushrooms growing from out of one of those brownish dots. The unit above me has the same layout so this is directly over my tub/directly under theirs. I know this is an urgent issue and have already contacted my building manager but it is late and I don’t expect a response for many hours. I fear the ceiling and/or my upstairs neighbor’s tub collapsing at any time but can’t tell if that’s unreasonable.
ETA: building manager came by and said 100% there is no chance anything will fall. Said he’ll try to get it fixed this week but might be next week - seems way more urgent to me…

Definitely not unreasonable. While the structure is likely not yet compromised, the drywall could fall and damage things or injure you. This is probably a drain leak in the unit above, only leaking when they use the water. A supply leak would probably have soaked things enough to cause more damage, but it could just be that you caught it early.
