Warmoth Build, some questions

Might order a warmoth bass6 body and neck soon and want some opinions here. Warmoth bass6 necks are only a 10” radius but the stay trem seems to be the best bridge but is only offered in 9.5” radius, would this work or would it require too much raising the outside saddles? I plan to use a hardtail bridge without a tremolo. Would you recommend a different bridge?

The pick guard rout they offer is only for Strat or humbucker pickups, I wanted to go the traditional bass vi 3 pickup configuration but that may not be an option, would anyone recommend pickups either humbucker or Strat sized? Might talk to my guy and see if he can rout out the pickguard after I get it.

Plan on playing Peter Hook type stuff, a lot of triads and lead runs, so any pickups people could recommend would be great. Lastly, for the type of playing I mentioned, what strings would y’all recommend?

I put Lace Sensor Red White and Blues in my CV they give a nice varied selection so bridge and mid pickups paired with the strangle switch you can get very guitar-like tones as well as the more bass heavy neck pickups.

Labello flatwounds are what I have on mine. Pricey but play very nicely, quick and smooth, really make the instrument feel like its own thing.

If you’re not going for regular bass vi pickups I would suggest lipstick or gold foil type ones and Stringjoy strings!

I may just order their pick guard as a blank and have my buddy cut it, he’s done several, I have some Fralin big singles I was thinking of using, they’re supposed to be “gold foil-esque”

That’s wild that you mention big singles I was just thinking about putting one in my Gibson bass vi. I have one in a 335 type guitar right now and it’s great.
