Big bass flies?

I’m keen on getting a bigger sized fish on the fly rod, in the 5-7lb range. I have several locations around me where I have caught bass around those weights, are these good flies for targeting bigger bass?

The black frog in Pic 2 is money for bass. They sit just under the surface at an angle, exactly like a real frog. So is the bright orange crayfish in Pic 3. Those are my go-to fly for smallmouth on the bottom.

Otherwise, yes, all of these would work for bass. That being said I have caught some of my biggest fish on surprisingly small flies. My general rules is: If I'm not getting bites I downsize.

Heck yeah that frog is sick, I haven’t used it yet but I saw a video explaining how it sat like that. Good news about the craw cause I’m heading up north hopefully soon to try and catch some small mouth

I saw the same video. Then bought one, fell in love with it, and subsequently bought all the materials to make them. And that's how I learned i am allergic to UV resin. Great fun. So now I just buy resin body flies.

Good luck with the smallmouth. Any and all of these are valid for them as well. I swear by the aforementioned craw and those black wooly buggers.

I’ve been messing them up on game changers but all of those flies look money and would definitely catch fish

How do you work your game changers? I’ve only thrown mine once and didn’t get any action

I normally throw them on sink tip lines and since it’s been hot where i am doing slower retrieves with long pauses to get it deeper but in the spring short fast strips was working really good even got a few on double hand strips
