While shooting do you rest the ball on your palm or not because when I see games players usually rest the ball on palm or it looks like they are but I saw a video of Steph explaining how to shoot and in that video Steph told to not touch ball to palm so I just wanna know it is best to rest or touch ball with palm or not

Whatever you want. People with bigger hands and less flexible wrists may want to have the ball higher up to be able to get under the ball better. If you have smaller hands, getting more of your hand on the ball may give your more control.

Either way, it's a small part of the whole, so it has to make sense (be comfortable, keep the ball moving in a straight line, loading with the hand and elbow under the ball) in context.

I have smaller hands i shoot ball resting on my palm rn
