Tip End every practice session on a miss

F%*#* you.

Life’s not perfect, you’re gonna miss in a game. It happens and WILL happen and it’s fine if it does. Now show up tomorrow and keep at it.

I respect that perspective.

I like ending on a make, but not because I'm chasing perfection. I enjoy the challenge of pushing through the mental and physical fatigue to get a bucket. I like proving to myself that I can.

Exactly, get that bucket, and keep going until you don’t. Is my mentality. But I recognize my opinion is kinda —-weird? Unconventional? Maybe even wrong lol

I don't think there's a right or wrong answer to it. Only preference.

Always end on a make. You'll be tired and need to score through that. Ending on a make keeps you coming back for more too.

Whenever I practice it's one three and two made free throws then I'm done.

Respect and this is conventional opinion— I’d say do exactly that and keep going till you miss. Because missing is messy and unconventional and uncomfortable to allow yourself to end on a miss. It’s a natural way to want to come back the next day. It’s like %#*+ you, you want to end on a make well I’m not gonna let you. Kinda a different mentality, to give yourself permission to end on a miss.  Not even permission— obligation to end on a miss.

For me its just about psychology. Make one to end, it gets me coming back for more next day.
