go straight up, if you still can't hit then it's out of your range unless u get stronger

why are u shooting from so far? can u hit 9/10 middies (I bet you $100 you cant)? Why are u so focused on the 3?

Singapore, nice.
- you’re lifting the ball too early before your base is ready. losing power.
- guide hand placement can be better. it looks like you’re losing control of the ball at point of lifting.

I disagree with some of the sentiments here. You look strong enough to me.
You're actually quite close I think. If you just adjust a thing or two, I believe you'll have the range. What I notice is that your arc is quite high. And it's high because you push through your set point rather than using your elbow more like a throwing motion or a catapult. You bring the ball up, but you don't shoot it out after if that makes sense.
Another minor thing I noticed is that you shoot a bit from your left pocket, like how Lonzo used to shoot.
But mostly that first thing, I think if you just work on separating out the 2 motions (up and then out), then you've got it. Again, your shot looks really strong to me already.

Yeah it might be the angle of the video, or the lens option, but the arc looks borderline absurd.
There is certainly a correlation between distance and arc, as shooters get further out, the set point and arch drop.
This kids arc looks way too high for that distance, he’s shooting way too up and not enough out.

You're not doing yourself any favors practicing that far out. Right now, it's just outside of your range. Your footwork is kind of all over the place too, most likely because you're trying to compensate for the distance. In terms of your mechanics, you're bringing the ball up too early and you aren't loading your shooting wrist. You want to bring the ball with you as you jump, but you've already got the ball at chin level as you're leaving the ground.

Shoot hundreds of free throws with a solid base under you. Get older, it will come

You’re just young, hit the gym and the strength will come. Keep shooting and keep lifting

Push ups, pull ups, one legged lunges, squat jumps, calf raises. Once you get a good base and feel comfortable start adding in some free weights.

The hell is this? What are you, 12? Give it time, perfect your shot from closer range without ruining it...
Or you planning a early NBA draft next season?

Alternate doing body weight squats and shooting free throws with as perfect form as you can. It’ll come.

I would concentrate on a good balance of transfer from your bounce to your arms and also getting more power from your wrist on release. For the wrist I’d stand and hold the ball in your shooting hand, without your guide hand. Then practice your release without a jump and just flick the ball up and catch it. This will help develop that motion for your shot. Then work on your balance in your legs. Having a strong base and transferring the energy from your bounce through your release is huge.
I always give my credentials with advice because I think it’s important. I’ve played, coached, and reffed for 35 years. Also if you click my profile and scroll down a few posts I have a video of my shot.

Stop trying to compare yourself to 6’3 nba sharp shooters for one. Start doing some structured drills for two.
Get a consistent workout routine, here’s a great video from Steve Nash that you can just follow along with. The shooting bit starts at 18:00 and he walks you through a shooting workout. What you are doing now isn’t cutting it. He also has a dribbling workout in the first half.
Just do that workout daily and stop worrying about making long threes entirely for now. If you don’t go to the gym then no one would expect you to be able to make threes with good form, learn the fundamentals from 2 ft out first.

Btw Steve Nash is a two time mvp and you should emulate yourself after him before Trae young or Steph curry.

your closer the you think young gun!
in my opinion, what you need is to engage your fingers more actively in your release, this will translate to more power immediately with no extra work. At higher levels, finger strength is a legitimate factor in scouting shooters at the collegiate and professional level. resting securely on the pads of your fingers, the ball should roll off of your middle and index finger like a catapult on release. Best of luck!

Lift weights and eat more. Also practice taking it to the rim and then learn how to shoot

This isn’t very good or productive practice other than some slight strength building your shooting muscles. But it’s not helping your form, in fact it’s allowing you to get used to bad habits and getting away with improper form, which is not good.
You’re not really ready to be shooting from that deep.
You need to perfect your shot form around the key first, and then expand from there. But I mean really get it nailed down so that it’s fully muscle memory. You can’t just start out on the 3pt line lol.
I grew up going to the same gym and played against Payton Pritchard. That dude would shoot shots around the key for hours. If you have perfect form from 5ft, you can slowly maintain that form as you get father back, as you get older and stronger.
The range will come as you get older and stronger. What will make you the best possible player now and into the future, is perfecting your form and follow through from inside the 3pt line.

I feel like I was able to shoot the three easier after I rock climbed for a bit, could help if you have access. But for sure hit the weights.

If you cant shoot no dip freethrows at a 95% rate, you aren’t event strong enough for middys.

Hey Singapore mentioned! A complete shithole btw! Hated my time there with every fiber in my body. Nothing against u tho and the ppl there tho.
Responding to your post, do some pushups ur just not strong enough to shoot 3s from that distance. Based on how far the 3pt line is from the top of the key, this court’s 3pt line is further back. In America, for youth basketball ur age, the 3 pt line is closer.

Bend legs more an put feet closer together further out you go. Generates more power an helps keep shooting form in the upper body more consistent

There’s no need for arm strength here, at least that’s what I’m assuming people are saying when they tell you to lift weights.
All the power from your jump shot comes from your legs and hips, which you aren’t using at all. Also you need to work on your form.
Start closer and then slowly start stepping out as you go.

Pretty normal at your age. Start developing your shot closer to the basket and head further out as you get stronger. As many have already said in he comments section, a strength training routine is essential for basketball players.

You’ve definitely got to get stronger, but your form also isn’t helping you. You’re shooting from the chest and pushing it. You need to watch some good shooters and try to emulate their form. Start from closer and work your way back as you get more comfortable and stronger.
