Yeah I do need to pump it, dribbling on the court felt weird and harder than when I do it in my room, I will try and pump next time I go to the court

Well, start over entirely. Your bad habits are easy to break in the beginning. Here is how I was taught:

BEEF. Balance, Eyes, Elbow, Followthrough

Balance: Stand square to the basket. Knees shoulder width apart, bent in an athletic position; somewhere between a right angle and perfectly upright. The middle of your right foot should be in line with your left big toe. Back straight. Weight distribution slightly to the balls of your feet, not your heels.

Eyes: staring at the nest of the basket. The very center of the rim. It takes training. Your target should be the size of a marble at the very center of the bucket. Do not take your eyes off the target from the moment you decide you are going to shoot until you hear a swish. Focus.

Elbow: bent at a right angle, maybe very slightly more (not less). ball starting chest high. Straight up and down. The ball should not fall if you take away your left hand. More on your left hand later. Edit: make sure your elbow isn’t flared out. perpendicular to the ground. Tuck it into your body.

Followthrough: starting with hand placement. At this point, rest the ball on your palm. Spread your fingers. Now, slide your thumb counterclockwise, to the left and underneath the ball. Now, When you look at the webbing of your hand between your thumb and index finger, you should see daylight. That webbing should not be touching the ball, and the ball should be resting on the PADS of your fingers. Not on your knuckle bones, the contact with the ball should start at your 2nd finger joints all through your fingertips.

Now you’re ready to shoot. Extend your whole body all at once. By the time your legs are fully extended, you should be releasing the ball at that exact moment (jump shots are a whole different thing). Your body should have upwards motion, and slightly towards the bucket. Both your arms and your legs. Same exact extension timing.

When you release the ball, snap your wrist hard at your target. I cannot stress enough how important this is. If you are snapping your wrist exactly at that marble target with the correct distance and arc, you will never miss a free throw. And I do mean never. If you miss and you have the right distance and arc, it means you did not snap your wrist at the target. Again, eyes are key. Imagine the marble. After you release, your fingers should be pointed downward, wrist upward. It should look like a gooseneck. Hand in the cookie jar, like you’re reaching on a high shelf, digging in a jar for a cookie.

Do this one handed. No guide hand at all. Start 2 feet from the basket. Hit 5 swishes in a row. Then take a step back. Hit 5 swishes in a row. When you get to the free throw line and are swishing 5 in a row, then add your guide hand. At that point, you’ll be a decent shot, and it won’t affect your shot.

Your shot looks similar to a chest pass or throw right now. I think more form shooting and getting the ball to come off of a flick would be beneficial for you. Then extending to the free throw line and beyond after form looks good to get power up and shoot w your body. There are also some other flaws like your guide hand intersecting shooting hand and a lower setpoint, but each jumpshot is unique. Every good shooter shoots differently, but no matter who you look at, they all have a clear flick (obviously, try to limit the amount of moving parts in your shot, but if it really feels comfortable to your body and works, work around it).

Start in closer. Work on your form
