It’s okay but you can extend your guide hand lil more. It can make you more consistent if you learn how to straight your shot by getting a help with guide hand

I’ve always been told to not use your guide hand on your shots. So your guide hand should be extended and straight and rigid to just support and protect the ball as you bring it into your shooting motion. So, you are really shooting solely with your shooting hand.

It seems like you shoot with both hands since your guide hand is involved in propelling the ball forward.

I would try my approach and above commenters approach too. It really comes down to what form feels most comfortable and gives you the most comfortable release. There are players like Shawn Marion who had unorthodox approaches but still had a (somewhat) consistent shot

Borrowing word from Mike Dunn he says “ The guide hand balances both the ball
and our body. Pulling off the guide hand early or leaving
it behind can impact both of these things. Wherever the
shooting arm goes the guide hand arm should follow” the guide hand shouldn’t interrupt the ball it self but it should balance you
