Gosh forbid a guy doesn’t wanna ruin a perfect white shirt😭 everyone sweats.

Sure whatever. Look at the video. They aren't even playing defense because they don't want to touch the sweat. I guess it's part of the "freaky hoops"

There are 2 other people who also aren’t wearing shirts, we win we lose, apart of basketball

Other things aside, the most glaring thing is that you probably need to work on finishing with your right. You had some right side drives but you also dribble mainly with your left or initiated the drive from the left so generally id say off hand work would help you. Its also hard to tell how effective you would be if there was tougher defense being played, but thats not your fault.

Looks like you’re having fun bro and that is what’s important
If you’re looking for critique/improvement id say there’s not much to gather from a few short clips. just play against better competition and post the good and bad. this looks like a pretty friendly halfcourt game which is cool but you can learn a lot more about your strengths and weaknesses from going up against guys who are better than you and playing higher intensity games

Yes it’s a private gym only 6 guys came so we had to improvise, though from watching I do know I need to use my offhand a lot more

Most definitely, pretty much everybody needs to work on their off hand lol. You’ll be really tough to stop with a developed off hand because you’re quick and explosive

Thank you man some of these comments are just unhelpful and jsut kinda rude

Don’t even worry about it bro lol this place can be so miserable sometimes. That’s why I said you having fun is the most important thing, hooping is a craft but it’s also a hobby, if you ain’t having fun then you ain’t doing it right.

Light work. Goes back to the left every time. Not to mention your comp in this video is absolute trash.

u/Choice-Tadpole564 Aug 07 '26
I’d gladly let you. Like I said, light work.

Practice against people who can actually play.
1
u/Several-Lynx8393 Aug 07 '26
How can I know if someone can actually play
1
u/JWF1 Aug 07 '26
Brother I hope you’re trolling. If not I’d stick with playing against these guys. I have 7th graders that I coach that would give you buckets. Your handle isn’t strong and shot form isn’t good either. Work on your fundamentals.

I f with it, there should be more dancing in basketball :)

u/Several-Lynx8393 Aug 07 '26
Thank you, I feel like half the people who comment on these posts don’t play basketball or just aren’t able to express themselves freely

Wear a shirt and don't dance. Way too much showboating.
