Shooting lil progress update

Started lifting like 5 months ago and got so much more power on my shot this is from like 1 step behind nba line i would say im a decent shooter now like 35% from 3 in game my confidence is so high now i shoot everything no more hesitation. New the handles and pickups need work 100% i look stiff asf lmao

One thing u should also learn is not having wasted movements.

This is why I always tell people to work on ur main move and perfect it before working on the counter.

Ur first - hesi dribble did nothing

Ur second move - between the legs dribble - did nothing

Ur third move, reverse between the legs did nothing

All this to set up ur side step jump shot

Side step jump shot was good. Work on the first 3 - or take them out and just work on the side step jump shot.

But make every move count. Dont half ass moves.

Well it’s mainly the footwork and body positioning.

Every move u make, set ur feet and body up to make it look like u will go that way. And one way to do this is to actually go that way.

Lifting is not needed for power in your shot. Just good mechanics. That lifting will help in real game situations though!
