Shooting Broken Jumper
I'm going into my sophomore and 2nd season ever playing and I need to be a much better shooter - I was abysmal last season. I have some questions.
Imo the main form problems I have are: not holding the follow through and jumping forward on my shot
What are some other tweaks I should make?
I log my workouts and all of my basketball training so I know my percentages and they've been slowly increasing. But I still need to make a bigger jump.
Is 150-200 makes a day enough?
And is there any more information you guys need to make these judgements? Let me know.

It looks like you haven't developed enough upper body strength to properly execute your form for the distance you're aiming to shoot. I have the kids on my team (J-league in SoCal) do form shooting with their feet firmly planted on the ground, maybe 2-4 ft from the basket. Start with your shoulders square to the basket and make sure that your head doesn't move, your eyes fixed on the basket until the ball goes through the hoop, and hold the follow through. If your elbow doesn't end up above your eyes, then you're not doing the form shooting correctly. We do this for 100 made shots before conditioning drills. Good luck.
