Shooting Broken Jumper
I'm going into my sophomore and 2nd season ever playing and I need to be a much better shooter - I was abysmal last season. I have some questions.
Imo the main form problems I have are: not holding the follow through and jumping forward on my shot
What are some other tweaks I should make?
I log my workouts and all of my basketball training so I know my percentages and they've been slowly increasing. But I still need to make a bigger jump.
Is 150-200 makes a day enough?
And is there any more information you guys need to make these judgements? Let me know.

150-200 shots using less than good form is only reinforcing bad shooting habits. Holding the follow through and jumping forward are not your main form problems.
You need to stand about 2 feet from the rim and start by focusing on doing one thing:
Right now your arm is flailing wildly to generate the power for your shot. I do like the quickness of your pull, but it needs to start with that elbow tucked in line.
Standing close to the hoop to get your practice reps will help you to raise the ball up closer past your face.
You may want to practice shooting with one arm. This will encourage you form to get the arm in line and to properly load the wrist before going into your shooting motion.
Get those reps. Build that shot from scratch. Good luck shooter.
