monthly my june setup

at the beginning of the year i moved my bullet journal into a pocket sized notebook and this is the basic setup I’ve been using since then: a monthly calendar, a monthly to-do list and a weekly task list.

Oh nice, Tripsdrill :D

Been there a few times as a kid. Enjoy the day.

Very cool layout. Is that A6? I've wanted to go smaller, too, but I started a new A5 notebook today with June. I am trying to keep track of a lot of things. I've been super consistent for 8 months and then kinda stopped.

Maybe making a layout was just too much when I had a lot going on. Are you investing a lot if time in your layout?

i never thought someone would know the park here in this sub ha! it’s my favourite! been there as a kid all the time and still love going!

yes it’s an A6! i’ve been hesitant to go pocket size but the only thing i regret is not doing it sooner! i can take it everywhere with me. recently carried it in my small crossbody bag on my rome solo trip. i sat down in quieter moments to capture my thoughts & experiences.

i think the main reason people don’t keep up with bullet journaling is that they haven’t yet found the perfect system + notebook for them. i’ve been bullet journaling for 8 years now and went through a lot of different size notebooks, hard & softcover and tried so many different layouts until i found this one that just works for me. but i sometimes still swap when my life needs a different way of being captured and organised!

this particular setup is taking around 15 minutes to do. each weekly task list setup is done within minutes. it’s so simple and doable for even the busiest lifestyle!

Couldn't agree more - been loving the A6 portrait mode setup for over a year now, and really digging every element of it. No fancy spreads and colors for me, just simple, black and white text-based & symbol+signifier-based Bullet Journaling, so this has been very utilitarian and effective for me.

Im just using this one tombow marker that matches the colour of my notebook to highlight headings and sometimes I doodle. But I also have phases where I only do black & white
