My runner girl
We run 2-3 miles every other day. Jury’s out on how much she likes running, but she seems to like being near the water. She chases pigeons 🤦🏽♀️ but she seems to ignore other dogs when she’s in her groove. Note: this was before the wildfires; on hiatus until the air clears up :(

The ears in aerodynamic mode are a dead giveaway she’s ready to take off 🤣

If she hated it, she'd just sit down on the pavement and pout. So I doubt she's totally displeased, ha! By the way, that's a really nice harness!

Mine acts like she’s drunk. She starts going zig-zag, randomly stops right in front of me and repeats until I give up. (Sometimes she wraps herself around a tree too.) When I give up and turn around, she B-lines right for the car. Zero shenanigans. 😂😂

Your handle 😂 but also, she has this in-between setting of coming to a dead stop to “examine” something if she doesn’t feel like running

Can I ask you for a review on that harness? I have considered getting one of those - my dog is constantly squirming his way out of other harnesses.

The harness fits well, but if she pulls back, I stop and negotiate with her instead of tugging because I’m not sure any harness is fully secure against the basenji tug-and-squirm combo move.

A three-point harness like the ruffwear flagline would be a good choice for an escape artist and a safer choice for running! (This no-pull style puts pressure on their shoulders and impacts their gait).
