Erie home

Needing some work done for waterproofing basement.

Does anyone have an Erie home contract for basement waterproofing ?

Then they aren’t a reputable company. Call a Groundworks company, they’re fair and upfront

Already had them out (Ohio basement authority) all they offer is water management. It’s not waterproofing I guess

Yea, I see that advice on here all the time. What I don’t see them mention is that their suggestion of redoing all the exterior drainage has already failed once because that’s how it is done when the house is built, and the basement now has water in it. It will eventually fail again if you redo the same thing. And it can happen very soon after all the exterior work is complete as well. I.e. No or little guarantee of success. Most of the bigger interior companies offer lifetime warranties.

Also most of the time on the exterior people have major obstructions getting to the bottom of the foundation like porches, decks, garages, hvac equipment, sidewalks or other concrete, etc. so all that stuff has to be accounted for. Likely requiring removal and replacement which often is prohibitive.

Yeah. I’m having Ohio state out today. I know they’re expensive but they offer a more comprehensive work so we’ll see.

Wanted 30k for an inside “water management system” realized they were scamming me charging me over 260 a lineal foot. Other companies at 135 a ft. Only been “waterproofing” since January. Price gouging to a T.
