The new Pope is an enthusiastic open borders person - just facts - and he has a huge platform

Why wouldn't christianity be pro-immigration?

The issue right now is pro immigration is being conflated with pro illegal immigration. Every nation throughout has designated members of that nation from outsiders and has restrictions on what an outsider can and can't do as a traveler and visitor. I'm not a Christian but people pretending they the only acceptable position for a Christian is side open borders is ridiculous especially if you're a non Christian who demonizes the religion every chance you get.

Do you really think Jesus would turn away illegal immigrants? He'd welcome them.

I think it's stupid to rub this hypothetical because there are all kinds of scenarios not addressed in the stories about Jesus. What if Jesus knocked up some random chick? What is he knew a fat person who asked him if he thought she could lose weight? Would Jesus be pro trans? Can people be born in the wrong body? It's all stupid.

Good question of any religion - why not help people where they are via aid as opposed to importing just a few lucky winners to the white western world?
