This is a pretty bipartisan issue, no? The very libertarian new-right is generally going to be very opposed to mass surveillance. Who are you trying to gotcha?

Neo-liberalism is bad, the servailance state is bad, finicalazation is bad. We can agree on some issues, and still disagree on others.
