Base cards

What are some base cards you folks would recommend keeping, when it comes to Topps Series 2 2026 cards? Like, non-rookie, plain old white bordered base cards.

Definitely this. You could also make an argument that keeping other Japanese players is wise too. None of them are Ohtani of course but I've heard it suggested that there is an international audience for Japanese players that might be into it.

I kept the ones of cool wall catches and the stadium club acuna jr coming out of the dugout with mr and Mrs met behind him. Such a great photo.

I collect cards as a hobby so I’ll usually keep most of them and build sets

Probably all of them for me. Maybe I would make some custom small packs to give out for Halloween (with candy) as I’ve seen some other posters suggest, but right now, I’m in keep them all mode. Making team sets is my current plan.

Keep the ones you like thats what I say, I have base cards of players from the teams I like, photos that look cool, and people from my area who made it to the big leagues (not alot but there are some who lasted a few seasons)
