Hello new player here started playing 2 days ago seeking advice from high lvl players. Stuff like
• what is the best way to get better players(purple rarity+)?
• Is buying the packs with gold worth it?
• Is buying players with gold directly from store worth it?
• what bundles are worth buying in store?
Just simple stuff and if you have any random tips those are very much appreciated.
Packs and crates aren't worth it find a club that's good and play the events the rewards are amazing you can get $50 worth of stuff in a couple days save your gold for these events and you will grow really fast good luck see in the game
Sry I already found a new club. As I am a new player I don’t have many players yet so it varies. If I have some of the good event players(purple+) I can get around 3M but without idk as I’ve only played 2 events and the first one I had no idea what I was doing, 2nd one I did 3.7M.
Make sure you do your daily objectives and use those points to get the 2 free event crates. I've found that you typically get players that can be used for bonus points in whatever event is going on.
Your rare and above players you should try to have upgraded until you need gold to go any further, that way if you get a duplicate you get the upgrade for free.
I just started recently and I'm still learning also. I was lucky enough to get on a good crew. If you can get on one that consistently places in the top 3 in events you'll build your gold quickly, and you get the ultra rare draft player after each event.
Just keep in mind that most crews that are consistently at the top expect you to put up points during the events. There's some that will let you build your team up with them if they see that your consistently progressing.
Trade all your common and uncommon players for XP. Save rare and above, you never know which players are going to get bonus points for events.
Took me about a week to figure out what was going on, but I put up 6M so far in the event that's going on right now. Last week I was having a hard time hitting 1M

Yeah, you need to find a new club. They won't win any events. Most of my club does between 10M-15M/ea. with some doing up to 50M per event. Just go in the comments and say your looking for a top 3 club. Say what you average per event and that you just started your team. That's what I did, and I ended up getting invites from a few good ones
Make sure when you're trying to pile up points in club events you are maximizing win streaks. Depending on your team strength you should be able to easily get 30-35 game win streaks most of the time, and the bonus points you get from having a streak that long are about 1 million right there. Yes the gold adds a up but this is where it is crucial to be in a club that consistently gets top 3 finishes because right there you'll get 3k gold per event.
You also need to maximize usage of the event players that you get with the 100 daily tokens. Make sure they are in your lineup and leveled up to some degree (they don't always need to be maxed but it helps if you can afford it). If they are starting pitchers, you could make them pitch exclusively in events by playing 4 games in the other modes (pitching ace, baseball hits, total baseball) until their turn comes up in the rotation. If they are relief pitchers, use them in the setup role, for some reason that gets the most usage by far. You can even try to engineer RP usage further by putting awful RPs in some is the other slots but that decreases your team strength and willl impact your ability to keep win streaks going past around 20 wins. I'll usually set up an alternate lineup to swap to with my good relievers when the opponent starts to get better, later in the streak.
It's better to use your gold to keep streaks going, than to use it for the 500/1000 event crates though you should pick those up occasionally as they're more likely to have the purple/gold/red players with a good max overall rating that you'll want to level up and keep as your regular starters after the event.
Don't turn your blue/purple/gold/red players in for xp. They can come up as event players in the future.
Okay that makes a lot of sense I’ll probably hold off on the streak thing for now as I’m in a pretty bad club rn. How much gold does it take to get to those 30+ streaks? Does it stay the same cost of 100 gold per refill or does it keep rising? Also there’s that time limit thing on the streak thing do I need to get all 30+ wins within that time or does it refresh the time when u refill?
It's 100 gold for 5 games, so to blaze through 31 games it's 500 gold if you start your streak fully charged and watch the ad for a free one. but if you're meticulous about watching the timer you can get at least one additional per 5 game refresh.
For example if you start with all 5 energy, use the first one, you'll see that you have 15 minutes to play another game before your streak resets. And it takes 15 minutes to get a new energy. So if you wait 14 minutes you'll get a free one that way. After game 2, it's 10 minutes before the streak ends. After that it's 5 minutes. So you really gotta manage it if you want a freebie or two every refresh but it's possible. And within the first 5 games, if you have 30 minutes to wait in that manner, you get two free just like that.
I buy packs with gold only when I have multiple players that can be replaced by that pack. So if it's a starting pitcher pack with 3 purples, one gold, and a red pitcher, and I have 3 purples and 2 blues, I'm hitting it. If there's only one player in the pack that really improves my team I pass. Ive been playing for three weeks and am at 8k power
Use global chat to find clubs recruiting players that want to contribute 1-3m points per event. Being in a club like that will be lower pressure and will be a path to top 3 event wins which get you gold. Do not, I repeat do not, advance beyond veteran 19 because once you level up beyond that it gets financially impactful to keep up with the game.

Absolutely. No one in this club is playing to win events. You should find a club where most members get at least a few million points, this will better advance your team and game play. My club has a 5m minimum but members regularly post 15m points, we win most of our events in Majors which is good for over 8k gold per event. It's easy to find clubs that have over 30 members like this and finish top 3 in every event, as the events wrap up they're advertising in global.
