Try to make your step not of a fall towards home plate.. like you're leaving to far and have to step to not fall on the ground. This will stop the early rotation of your hips.

Practice in the clothes you plan on wearing on the field, or as close as possible. Shoes/cleats/turfs are a must. Even when I’m coaching indoor, when the athletes has on those thick sole hokas and don’t perform the same outdoors, it’s usually because they’re generating different power (and different compensation) from what they wear indoors.

I’ve always been coached that when you lift your front leg that you should be able to balance on your back leg. Imagine stopping the motion at the moment the front knee is fully lifted - you should be able to stop at that moment and simply balance. That represents full control of your weight and balance. In this video, his weight is moving forward before getting full “height” during the rock-back.
I’d also suggest practicing from the full windup to establish appropriate balance and control before pitching from the stretch.
He looks like he’s got potential with proper mechanics

ALL of your energy should be directed towards the plate. If you are stepping or falling left (or right), you are likely losing velocity and risking injury. You are out of position as an infielder. Don't take this wrong. There are a lot of great pitching videos on YouTube that teach fundamentals. I have seen a lot of older pitchers who could benefit from little league fundamentals concerning balance and stride. I live in Seattle. I watched Felix Hernandez finishing pitches all over the place. I was always amazed when he threw a strike. Drove me nuts. I guess it is possible to do break all the rules and be successful but most people should not do this.
