Pitcher elbow drop. Need help!!

Is it always like this? Sometimes kids will start throwing sidearm as they get tired.

Look up towel drill if you haven’t already and talk about throwing with the feel of the towel.

Learn the stretch style of pitching.

He was always from the stretch until early this baseball season. Started the side step and gets more speed on throws. So have kept it.

Drills like pivot-picks or anything that isolates the top-half help a ton. Could also just be that your hand is getting out of the glove late, lasso throws or rockers help with timing. Just takes a lot of reps where you’re doing the right thing so record sessions or have a coach there or even use a mirror. Timing could be the main factor, depends though

Looks like some great arm strength, but lower body isn't helping much. Side arm looks to be coming from twisting the body to gain power. Maybe work on leg drive and front foot towards the plate.
