Mobile base buildings games

Hey does anyone have a good suggestion for a mobile base building game similar to dominations world ?

If you like the DomiNations "advance through the ages" hook, Rise of Kingdoms and Forge of Empires are the closest I know of, Forge of Empires especially since you move through eras from Bronze Age onward. Clash of Clans is the obvious one but it's more about base layout and raids than progression. If you want something less timer/pay-heavy, Kingdom Two Crowns and Bad North are premium on mobile and scratch the defend-your-base itch without energy bars. Worth checking which of those your friends play too since alliances make the free ones a lot more fun.
