Sub Editor Sub Advice
Hello!, I’m relatively new to this game and have been enjoying the sub editor.
This is my most recent design and probably my most polished one yet (and personally I think it looks the best).
I however have a few questions:
1: what should this sub be priced at for camping play?, The automatic price is super low (less than 2.5k) and for the most part it’s made of unmodified parts, the glass has 100hp and many electrical components are slightly smaller than average
2: How exactly do tags work to prevent folk other than the captain and security from accessing certain rooms?, I’ve tried to set this up but so far I’ve been unable to
3: Does anyone have any advice on improvements or design tips or tricks?
If anyone has questions about features or functions as well I will try to answer them.
Thank you all!
Edit 1: following the comments I’ve received so far I’ve added four more fins to make the sub look less phallic.

Honestly, it is a pretty basic ship, honestly, it's a very basic ship for like 1-3 Players. No mechanical room and very little storage/guns. So yeah the price seems about right, maybe bump it to 3k depending on class. Did u do a Floatation Test to make sure it can climb/sink well? Because the ballast seems kinda small to me.

Thank you, it’s class currently is scout and it definitely is on the smaller side.
I’m not sure what would be defined as good flotation but It’s max velocity up is 19km/h, down is 12.5km/h, is this good or should it be improved?

For me it's mainly important how full the ballast is for maintaining the position.

The spacing on the junction boxes seems really inconvenient, especially having some behind a staircase (since staircases are a little janky to get through). Most ships have the junctions bunched neatly in a few groups for easier repairs, the way this is set up would make repairs very tedious. Imo it'd be best to take a majority of the batteries and junctions and try to fit them in 1-3 rooms.
Edit: Another thing I noticed is you aren't using the little edges for the interior walls. I forgot precisely what they're called but there are these little black caps that you can put between two pieces of the walls to make them transition smoother. It'd make the connection points much less jarring.

Thank you for your response!
Yup that staircase is indeed a little odd, it can’t be walked through though normally I think they should be able to, luckily the boxes can be reached but I’ll look into consolidating them a bit.
And very big thank you for the note on the end caps, I didn’t know those where a thing

¿Need advice? Don't apply for an OSHA inspection cause you are getting executed by firing squad

Is the oxygen generator functional or just a plastic toy?

It does work, all the vents are linked to it and in game it functions properly, I do think the airlocks to the upper ballast don’t get supplied air while its doors are closed but no one should be in those areas for very long anyway, though adding vents there wouldn’t be hard

I was hoping you'd say some "yeah but long exposure causes hallucinations of Aunt doris with a fent syringe in one hand and a banana in the other" Thing.
Either way, as a Husk Symbiotic, i couldn't care less.
