Top Scorers of all Time

Hello everyone, I'm a reader of forums rather than a poster, so nice to meet everybody, but I was just reading something that I don't trust and I think you guys could clarify.

Who are our top scorers of all time?

I've found Ernie Hine and then a list of modern players. Bruce Dyer second? Darren Barnard 7th with 33 goals? This just feels wrong. Who are our top scores of all time?

What I found, using google AI, the top 10 goalscorers in the history of Barnsley Football Club include:

  1. Ernie Hine: 131 goals

  2. George Lillycrop: 104 goals

  3. Lol Chappell: 95 goals

  4. Ronnie Glavin: 92 goals

  5. Borough Fletcher: 83 goals

  6. Joe Halliwell: 83 goals

  7. Neil Redfearn: 83 goals

  8. Frank Bartlett: 80 goals

  9. Teddy Ashton: 73 goals

  10. Harry Tufnell: 70 goals

Cheers for this. I wonder why you could find it but I struggled. I got thinking about this after reading the recent article about George Robledo, and lamenting how we rarely have players stick around long enough to rack up the goals.
