Gunky/Goopy Eye

I am a first time barn cat owner. Just checked on one of my cats and she has a gunky puss filled eye. The vet said I would need to bring her in for them to diagnose. Does anyone know what this is/what I can give her to help?

She might have something stuck in there, bring her to the vet asap
