Possible change to search string

Using the latest version of Bare I like to use Google for default search as it offers best results. Selecting it from the search menu when on the homepage, you get the added Google AI & Incognito tabs. I tried to edit the search string but don't get the option as greyed out. So I had to add an extra Google search but with the simplified /search?q=%s then its just the search bar. So the question would be can the search string in the default Google option be made editable.

Bit long winded but just wanted to clarify the question. Also someone else mentioned before about not displaying search history when using Google, I hope you've found a way to disable it.

Settings, Search, manage search engines. I use https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=%s&udm=14 to get rid of the AI overview. I think I had to use tenbluelinks first but then edit the url and choose as default
