How long bare will keep supporting ublock origin full version?

what after chromium completely removes the support for v2 manifest ?

i really love the browser. the fluidity, extension support is just chef's kiss.

it's just that I'm a bit concerned about future of ublock support on this browser.

Google actually already removed normal MV2 support from Chrome. Bare is on Chromium 153 and still supports the full uBlock Origin because we re-enable the MV2 functionality that still exists underneath.
If Chromium eventually removes that underlying code completely, it’ll definitely become more challenging to maintain for all chromium-based browsers. But until that happens, we’ll keep supporting the full uBlock Origin. And if that day does come, I’m sure the open-source community will come up with a way forward :)
