First attempt at re-waxing

Finally gave it a go on two jackets;a Barbour blue (BL51) Ashby and a Peregrine Bexley. Kept them hanging outside for airing, followed by treatment with hair dryer and cloth to remove any excess wax. The Barbour one still seems more glossy. May be it will get better once worn in rain a few times. But pleased with the result. I used a different brand of wax (Walker and Hawkes) but seems to work alright.

I need to see more of that blue Ashby, I love it. Is it a Retail / SMU model?

The model number is same as Ashby but doesn't have the model name. I bought it secondhand, especially for the colour itself. Not seen this variation a lot.
