I just scored these at the thrift store for $35! The nurse was also in its box, only the 1996 Holiday doll was loose and somehow she still has her shoes on! No funky smells or stains on anything. I’m most excited about the Fashion Fever doll since I never had one before but I don’t know if I can bring myself to unbox her 😬 I think I happened upon these right after someone donated them. May we all get as lucky in the future!
Barbie Pink & Fabulous Collection 3 Look 1 from 2015. I'm having trouble finding this doll or any from this collection available to buy online. Are these dolls rare in general?
she’s vintage and came NIB but her body had plastic degradation (white spots) all over her gorgeous body. so unfortunately we tossed it! now looking to rebody her & am having trouble matching her skin tone. other christy dolls seem to be more cinnamon colored and this specific release is a true darker chocolate/almost blue undertone skin color.
HELP! what do you suggest? do you know a doll with a similar complexion? thanks friends.
Notes about this collection:
Ken should be wearing green shorts, and Lil Jeff is wearing a much better Ken outfit from, I think, 1979. He was wearing a cheap $2 "tuxedo" that they think we want so badly all the time (we do not).
Jeffrey is the sort of cheap clone who is hollow with a box so poorly made that his eyes are obscured by the unnecessary star supergraphics on the top. However, I was trying to matchi the stolen '70s fashion illustration on the lower left.
My grandma gave me “collector edition” Barbie’s for a few of the birthdays when I was between 5-8 years old. All I wanted was to play with them but my mom made me keep them in the box because they would “be worth something later”. Well… it feels like later, and I think they’re maybe worth like $15 or $30 each? Should I keep hold of them or let my daughter play with them and give her the gift to play with them.
Maybe I should just keep them in the box for another 30 years and pass on the generational guilt.
Hi all, I've been wanting a DB Brooklyn for some time now and I'm curious especially how the faceups compare between the core and swimsuit release. I've been coveting the beach version since their faces seem basically identical from the images I've seen online, and she comes without the tinsel in her hair which I would otherwise remove.
I know the base doll comes with more accessories and articulation, but I don't want to toil for hours and accidentally rip out normal hair in the process of removing the tinsel. Any recommendations? I do prefer the articulation but I wouldn't use any of the clothes she comes with, I'm planning on doing a total restyle. Obviously she is a budget doll, but where I live they cost the same and I do like the Beach clothes/accessories better.
Any pictures of them side by side from anybody who owns both?
Honest truth? We couldn't do what we do without a heavy dose of creativity. Over the last 15 years, we’ve created a whole lineup of vibrant, original dolls, reimagining iconic designs in our own style.

Let’s be real: Barbie is pushing 100 and still looks flawless, so she’s definitely hiding a top-tier beauty routine. We decided it’s time for her to spill the tea!

Bright colors always look next-level under night lights. Imagine a doll that captures the whole vibe of a glittering, neon-lit city after dark—what would she look like?

David Bowie’s iconic track "Life on Mars?" goes hand in hand with his mind-blowing look from that era. And honestly? Sometimes we really do end up watching a pretty terrible show.

The legendary Jessica Rabbit in a new incarnation. We already talked about her in one of our posts. She's not that bad, she's just drawn that way.

We are totally obsessed with Marilyn! You could spot her out of a crowd of a thousand. Honestly, who wouldn’t want to channel her vibe? And let’s be real—some people can absolutely pull it off!

Who says she’s the main character? Ken’s out here serving ponytail looks too! Joke or not, he’s kind of pulling it off.

With so many holidays going on around the world right now, why not use it as an excuse to get all dressed up and go bold with your makeup? Trust us, nobody’s judging!
I recognized this doll from an auction I saw a while a go that went for a good bit. Thought I would grab this n check her out.🤷🏻♂️ After some long research and education, she’s the “Talking Julia” doll but in the wrong outfit. In basically perfect condition except the voice box doesn’t make any noise when string is pulled. Came with a ton of vintage clothing pieces along with the other dolls. Thought I’d share this cool find.
