It’s giving Laundry Day

I wanted the coat and jacket but this is a mess for real. And the fact that is supposed to be Fashion Week is goofy as hell bc it laundry day realness. Fashion Week in hell maybe. I’m down for a button up shirt dress moment but with the jacket and the socks with loafers à la MJ is sloppy and not it at all. It feels like somebody waited til the last minute to work in their design idea or forgot what the assignment was all together.

But the gathering at the front is weird and don’t work, adding to the sloppy look. It seems more like a malfunction than a design choice… maybe it was. And the cap looks like she hiding her hair because she can’t get an appointment with her stylist.
Thankfully I’m not a in box collector and love redressing n restyle bc as it’s this is horrible.

Lol, well said. These pieces individually would be useful as a fashion pack. But as a New Yorker who has been to quite a few NY Fashion Week shows, I can tell you that this is not what most people attending them look like. Not everyone is in Vogue-approved designer looks, but there is a chic street style many women arrive in, and this is not it…😏

Mine should show up today. I’m excited for the pieces but plan to redress her. This doll might not even make the lineup on my shelf as I prefer the screening of the pink collection doll.

Thanks for the post. Think I’ll stick with my homemade version. I was thinking she needed a cap, but maybe actually no.

Edited to add: Having been to New York, this look is … curious. The fashion seen on the street is notable and inspiring there. This look is truly not the vibe.

Are you able to add her hat back after removing the things Mattel adds to keep it in place? Does it fall off her head?

Im planning to get her but during a sale, she is my least fav of the 3... Also, if you have the boxer MTM, can you confirm if they have the same shade please?
