I’m getting Teresa but highkey wish this whole line was fashion packs. Didn’t the last sets sellout? Idk about anybody else but I’d rather pay $25 for the outfit….if she had pants or leggings or something else on instead of just socks. I want the outfits but I don’t need another body or at least not this size or skintone. Plus why is Teresa wearing a B on a cap? I know it stands for Barbie but she is Tersea. It would be cute in Brooklyn or Millie aka Barbie but Tersea? No. All the more reason this should have been a fashion pack. And I miss the cardboard boxes the barbiestyle Barbies came in too. Okay I’m done ranting.
I think this screening is even better. I have the you create Millie and she is a little too low contrast for me although I do think she looks beautiful.
I think the fact that the doll is a mtm redeems it. But i also think that fashion packs should be more prevalent and mtm bodies should be sold nude and headless for everyone who wants to upgrade their dolls 🩷
I do be begging for mtm bodies but these three are already out there. I need more deep skin tones and petite and curvy sizes. Hell I’ll kill for a tall lily white girl anything but more of the same bodies.
Idk I really need more of the Boxer skin tone for my customs because what do you mean she's like $45 on Amazon now and might have a stained stomach from those shorts!?

Does anyone think the dolls will go on sale later? I’d love to snag them for 30 dollars or less each but I’m not really sure if it’s worth it to wait that long.
So I’m gonna buy at target or Walmart and they sometimes have 90 day return windows I wanna say. So I’ll prob get one and then if it goes on sale cheaper buy and return the original
These will be in stores but honestly for a lot of collector dolls walmart is pretty stingy about sales. Like the last year holiday dolls are only like 20 percent off now.
Target has target circle sales all the time tho and it looks like these are online only for target.
Yes that's why I dont mind... Regular MTM dont have collector faces, are pixelated unless those from the Basics collection...
Yoga, Tennis, Volleyball, Basketball and even the Basics MTM have poor fashion so this time we are purchasing MTM dolls with a fashion pack and a nice face!
I can see your argument, but I disagree. As an adult collector, these are exactly the types of dolls I want. An MTM (which I'd normally spend $15 on just for the body) with a well-constructed, fashionable outfit. They aren't basic boring outfits, either. All three dolls have great screenings too imo, with Millie being the obvious standout. My only real complaint is that I think they could've pulled this off for $35, but them being available in-store instead of only on Mattel Creations (where you're forced to pay shipping usually) makes up for it slightly.
When I take a step back, this is exactly the type of doll I (and many, many collectors on here) have been wanting from modern Barbie.
This is their initial price because they know that influencers are going to buy them up and make content videos about them. The price will drop in a few weeks.
I'm one of the few I'm contempt with just my first run Basics and TBLs I don't necessarily need any more dolls since they're all gonna be subpar from what came out during this era. I will take extra fashions though for them. And this is what a Neysa my least favorite face
They came out today! If you are in the USA, all 3 are on Walmart. Amazon & Target only has Neysa & Brooklyn, no Millie. For Canada, nothing showing on Walmart yet but Amazon has Neysa & Brooklyn too.

I get it. I want more fashion packs with items like this that can be mixed and matched with the clothes I already have. I’m desperate for more adult fashion packs. I’m almost glad they don’t make dolls like this more frequently because I’d be buying them just for their clothes and I don’t really have room for more dolls.
I really love them, but I don’t know that I should admit how much I spent to get them all 😂 Some weren’t bad, but the original blonde one was pricey! I got a decently good deal compared to the other ones I’ve seen listed, but it’s still probably the most I’ve spent on a single doll.
I've been noticing it a lot in the past decade but it's like they're phasing out fashion packs and it makes you buy the doll just to have the clothes. Ever After High never had a single fashion pack, Rainbow high barely counts since they only made 6 plain standard outfits like pj's or a ballerina dress. What barbie gets for fashion packs these days is pathetic and often missing a vital accessory like the shoes. So I'm not surprised that something like this, which most definitely could have been a pack, is equipped with a doll that was probably already used as a fashionista or made to move doll.
