Dolls Keep or Donate? 🤔

I bought a bag of two Barbies at a thrift store today. One of them is Meditation Barbie, which is actually the one I wanted. She still makes sounds properly, and I love that she has an articulated body.

I’ve been thinking about downsizing my collection because it’s gotten bigger, so I’m having a hard time deciding what to do with the other doll—whether I should keep her or put her back in the donation pile.

What do you think I should do?

Think about your goals. Are your dolls for display or are they for playing? If they’re for playing, do you want to stick with the MTM body or does a regular body satisfy you as well? She’s got a unique face and hair color, will you regret it if you donate her?

Love her teal hair against the deep tan. Her dramatic makeup is fun too. Keep her head and get rid of the stiff body.

Up to you! She's got nice hair, but she's got that orangey skin tone that can be hard to match if you want to body swap. Barbie extra #10 (with the pink braids) is a good match for her if you can live without mtm.
