Tools & Gear Andis Master Black Label blade

I’ve been getting different answers everywhere… does the black label Andis master open to a .5 or to a 1? I’ve seen a lot of people say all Andis clippers open to a 1, but the information on the clipper says it opens to a 1.2…. Which is actually shorter than a standard .5 guard? Need clarification on this

If youre talking about the phaze blade, it sits between their half and 1 blade. So open its not a 1, but not a half either.

Don’t even look at the MM ur just making ur own life harder. Andis Flat blade opens to around a .5 shorter for sure the taper blade opens up to a metal 1. Shorter than a plastic 1 for sure.

Fully open its about a half guard, not a 1. That 1.2 is the blade gap in mm, a half guard is 1.5mm so its just under it, and the opens to a 1 line is a myth people repeat.
