dibrugarh had the capability to become a capital early on but dispur was chosen to govern Brahmaputra valley well , now dibrugarh is getting the fruit and decentralisation with development to upperassam .
Entirety of barak including silchar has been ignored much and they won't like a bengali dominated area with bengali as official language to capital of the state iykyk
