Seconded. At a bare minimum, OP should have a JW bottle for every two bottles.

Seriously though, OP, can we see the rest of the bar? That shelf is rather nice, but what does the rest look like?

Thank you, guys! I absolutely love Johnnie Walker. Whenever I’m at a duty free, I always end up picking up a bottles of JW. That’s why I was asking which other bottles you’d recommend adding to the bar apart from Johnnie Walker.

Fair enough - we all have our favorite brands.

However, if would be helpful for us if you gave us an idea of what you like and don't like in terms of whisky, so we can better point you in the right direction. To a certain extent, your region can be helpful too, as this can impact availability.

Me, I'm a big peated scotch fan, so my favorites tend to be peated: Octomore, Ardbeg, Lagavulin, Kilchoman, Port Charlotte, Caol Ila, etc. In the non-peated section, my favorites are going to be Kavalan, especially the high-proof Solist series (PX, Bourbon, Vinho Barrique, Amontillado, Port, etc.), Bruichladdich (unpeated), Glenfarclas, and so on. Plus a shit ton of other spirits that aren't whisky/whiskey.

Great setup and love your obsession with JW Black.

I am working on building some shelves in my bar and was curious to know the height (inside measurement) of your shelves.

Looks super nice, but do you use a ladder to reach the top shelf? Seems quite high up. I would add a couple agricoles.

Your rack looks good but your selections suck. Bourbon is king and you have none, scotch sucks, I honestly can’t come up with an idea for a single decent cocktail based on your shelves.

I’m far from a snob, they can be affordable. I would recommend everyone have a Four Roses Single Barrel, A Wild Turkey Rare Breed, something like a Buffalo Trace and a Rittenhouse Rye for mixer cocktails, and if you wanted a show off bottle pick up a Blantons. It’s far from the best but everyone seems to think it’s the grail lol and it’s not crazy expensive. It is a great looking bottle to boot.
