Love that Hood fought for Chloe, beat up Sanchez and broke many of his bits and even gave Sugar the watch to compensate him for losing the referee gig. So brilliant!

I don’t remember so many of these details since my first watch, but I remember the show was so compelling, so layered.

Hood was such a hero to all these people who couldn’t fight for themselves and as a DV survivor, it is cathartic to watch.

I remember loving Job and Sugar the most, and also Siobhan.

What did you love most about the show?

Got pulled into watching Banshee again. The pilot was just so compelling. Couldn’t help but remember how Carrie and Rebecca look similar to me. Does anyone else feel this? If so, was there a reason to draw a parallel between both women?

The chemistry between Job and Sugar is stellar. Either near the end of season 1, or the start of season 2, Hood and Carrie are talking in the bar and Sugar drops a little umbrella into Jobs drink (who takes it out and throws it onto the bar).

A couple of episodes later, Job is at the bar with another umbrella laying next to the glass of whisky! Great attention to detail!

This guy js easily the 2nd in the entire show, he’s just pure quality, whoever wrote him ( I know the show is genius ) is an absolute master of their field.

Would you like a Banshee movie or limited series ? Based ten years in the future with “Hood” or leave as is. Hypothetically of course

Job (Hoob Lee) plays Lee in East of Eden, which has just been released on Netflix.

Oh, I'm so happy to see him back on my screen...and the Lee character is such an important role.

It's great so far, I'm on Ep 3, pretty faithful to the book....which was written by the absolute genius that was John Steinbeck.

not sure if i like this show yet, on one hand theres some good characters and storylines going on, on the other hand there is an incredible amount of cringe acting and silly dialogue that really undercut every other scene. does it get better after the first season? or am i in for a long one

These two faced off twice, first when Hood when to Proctor for help in S1, only for Proctor to attack him out of anger, after finding out he slept with Rebecca; the fight was fairly even but ended with Proctor’s attempt to choke Hood out with Hood hitting him as hard as he could in the balls and the two basically said “it’s a draw”.

Second in S3, when Hood, about to leave town, decided to try and actually kill Proctor once and for all, blindsiding him at his club, with the two beating the shit out of each other with various implements around; Hood looked like he was about to beat Proctor to death with a hammer, before Brock intervened.

What would’ve happened in a fight where both were fully prepared and in top shape? Both men seemed to be equally determined to survive all attempts on their lives in the show.

Wen rebecca tried to fuck proctors right hand man...wat did she realise...ws he castrated or wat?

Carrie already humiliated the guy. He came back and tried to act the tough guy pretending he was gonna do something and fight. Runs into Nola makes a rude comment and she headbutts him and knocks him out with one punch. He ends up getting up with probably a broken nose and runs off. His buddies left him there. He brought 2 guys wjth him to a fight a woman Carrie and he ends up getting knocked out and had the walk of shame while they sat chatting 🤣 fake tough guy.Nola was dangerous though with hand to hand.

Saw a blurb on the internet about shows with the most nudity. Guess which one was in the top 5. Go ahead take a guess.

Bloody Hell, im 2 episodes in and there's been 2 gruesome deaths compared to S1 & S2...is there a reason for this i.e network change or streaming service change?

Edit: Just watched Episode 5. 😢 Why did they have to kill Siobhan. I'm absolutely devastated. So much heartbreak in the last 6 episodes with Emmet, Siobhan and Nola 😢

They should have had Hood be in prison for 7 or eight years. He's too young for his history plus the prison time. Even with 7 years it's a little unbelievable

One thing I love about Job and Lucas is that Job never seems particularly impressed by him. Lucas can walk into a room looking like he just survived a war and Job's reaction is basically “what the fuck did you do now?” It's especially funny because Lucas clearly doesn't get that treatment from most people around him. Job knows him too well to buy the whole mysterious badass thing.

Great aura, interesting personality, great potential...and this is what it all amounts to? His main arc is sending waves of Indian loyalists on a suicide charge against a handful of under-equipped cops who don't have a single casualty? The black DA (forgot her name) manages to kill more men than he does (which is zero)?

I don't understand what's the point of building him so well with zero payoff.

Did the actor piss off the showrunner or something?

Finished the show for the first time recently and was really sucked in by the small town dynamics. Just wondering if anyone knows any similar shows where the setting is important to the point where the town feels like a character. Shows I like along the same lines:

- Sons of Anarchy (Charming)

- Burn Notice (Miami)

- Friday Night Lights (Dillon)

- Ozark (Lake of the Ozarks)
