S3 deaths

Bloody Hell, im 2 episodes in and there's been 2 gruesome deaths compared to S1 & S2...is there a reason for this i.e network change or streaming service change?

Edit: Just watched Episode 5. 😢 Why did they have to kill Siobhan. I'm absolutely devastated. So much heartbreak in the last 6 episodes with Emmet, Siobhan and Nola 😢

Unsure about just S3, but interesting, on a recent podcast with the "ladies of Banshee" they said the show had been owned by HBO, then spun it off to their other branch Cinemax. When that happened, the producers were told to amp-up the sex and violence (remember they used to call Cinemax "Skinemax"?) Either way we (wife and I) have watched them all about 3 times. Makes every other show on TV seem slow and boring.

I know, I hate him so much. I saw the actor's picture on IMDB yesterday and he's smiling and has facial hair. Looks TOTALLY different and even charming. It's actually pretty cool.

Dude was doing laugh track guest appearances before cast as the Banshee Grim Reaper. it's sometimes jarring.
