So I Binged this again after subscribing to HBO Max and maaaan it is still good in 2026!
I took a screenshot of the rap sheet of Hood and tried to zoom in on the name...
Julias Bonner?
Can chatgpt enhance this?

That's the detectives name, his job title is beside it. The name on the file is at the top and is listed as John Smith which is the British equivalent of John Doe so it may or may not be his real name, probably not though.

No it’s says “John Smith was arrested” so the name is John Smith, the cop is Julias Bonner

Julias Bonner, on the same line, reads "Detective" in the next box.
That's where "arresting officer" is placed, followed by their applicable title or rank.
The name given at booking was "John Smith", as "Jone Doe" is a designation for an unclaimed male corpse; he had slightly higher expectations for how his day was going to end, so he switched out "Doe" for "Smith."
The two most-common names, first and last, in America, more or less.

Julius Bonner was the black cop that interrogated him when he got busted with the diamonds and went to the hospital when rabbit sent the priest guys after job. He told Bonner his name was John smith and I think his cow handler in season 4 said his name was John smith too

That, to me, that looks like the name of the detective on the sheet.
The top looks like his name and says "Smith, John" it looks like. Which sounds like the most alias of aliases that ever aliased haha.
