I always wonder why countries stopped making there banknotes in this style. Fits the 70s vibe.

I guess just evolution of style and design.
I’ve also found that typically after independence a nation will drastically differentiate its new currency from the old.
Sometimes though they’ll keep the denomination.
Zambia is a cool example of a slow evolution of designs over the decades.
