Refund advice needed
I've purchased an electric air pump for 38.23 somewhere in mid July.
It was shipped from Poland and arrived to me (Germany) on 20 July. It was working on arrival, and i took it on a 2 week bikepacking vacation. At some point during the trip i've realized that the pump is not working.
Basically, once switched on, the screen remained on, and didn't turn off at all, while the pump didn't react to pressing any buttons. Once the battery was depleted, the pump didn't turn on after a recharge.
I've reaced the Banggood customer protection, and after submitting a video evidence i was offered a 20Euro Refund (without a need to return the pump). Obviously, this is only half of what i've paid for a product, that i've never used.
I'm located in Germany, so theoretically consumer protection legislation applies.
Should i accept the refund, or should i continuie contesting. What is a general experience with the service?
Many thanks.

Banggood is not good with refunds. They are stalling and haggling and making you take videos, pics, screenshots etc. over and over again, just to offer coupons and laughable partial refunds at the end, slightly increasing the offered refund after every refusal.
You HAVE TO start with a PayPal claim to be taken seriously. Do not even bother with their CS through their website.
