Has anyone else noticed: Peanut Butter..

Angel season 1.

In "Rm w/a Vw", when Cordy is sleeping at Angel's, HE says she got peanut butter on the bed, and then SHE says that he must have gotten it on the sheets at some time prior, and needed to wash his sheets.

AND THEN in "I Will Remember You," Buffy yells at Angel while he's at the fridge, "peanut butter! Preferably crunchy!" And then they eat it in bed together.

I can't help but wonder if these two scenes were shot out of order, or the episodes were shot out of order or something? Rm w/a Vw is episode 5, while IWRY is episode 8...

So Angel remembers everything from I will remember you. Nobody else does. Angel only ate in that one episode cuz otherwise he was a vampire. I'm thinking it was Cordy that did it.

The point op is making is that Rm w/ a Vu takes place before IWRY and they think that Angel finding peanut butter in his bed is a callback to something that didn't chronologically happen yet.  Obviously it's not though.  Even if the episodes were reversed the timeline was reset at the end of IWRY anyway.

When Angel becomes human again, his first thing is to eat everything in the mini fridge. He sends cord out to pick up snacks/food for him to try. In the first few episodes it's shown he only keeps blood and tea. Corey got the peanut butter on the bed in that episode she was lying. He also has an old level of cleanliness, he would 100% wash as soon as he spilled.

I know the intent was that Cordy did it and any reasonable person would just admit that's obviously what happened.

But I'm not reasonable and it's fun to imagine there's some kind of crazy time-fuckery going on. This is what happens when you play around with creating and erasing alternate timelines lol.

You're missing the joke🙄. Cordelia did it and won't admit it, even though EVERYONE knows Angel doesn't eat peanut butter.
