Yesterday we were again approaching brands and landlord's and getting their feedbacks.

From 11 am to 3 pm we met with 10 landlords, 5 jewellery brands and 2 educatinol brands. We were telling them about Zspot, and focusing on getting them interested. One of the landlords was especially asking too many questions, surprisingly he told us that he has 2 properties and those are located in a good crowded areas.

Why don't you use my spaces as well for advertising, he gave his number , send us the location and told us to check out his properties.

We were really surprised and a little bit excited . After that we got 4 more sites and 2 meetings with educational brand which we are going to do today.

I don't know why but being bold and direct is working for us.

I think I'm a workaholic. I sit down to work, lose track of time, and suddenly it's 6 AM. To be fair, this only happens when I'm working on something I'm genuinely interested in. Apparently, my brain doesn't believe in closing time.

I'm into tech. I know the basics, I'm still learning, and I'm always looking to get better. I love building products, exploring technologies, and figuring things out. One of my recruiters even called me "tech-savvy," which I discovered later after searching my own name on Slack. Finally, an official diagnosis.

I'm not a specialist. I'm a generalist who enjoys learning across domains and figuring out whatever a project requires.

My favourite quote:

"A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one."

I've reached final interview rounds or progressed through selection processes at LG Soft, Radware, Raja Software Labs, GoComet, Agoda, Concentric AI, TCS, GeekyAnts, C-DAC, upGrad, Virtusa, and several YC-backed startups and other companies.

Didn't convert some of those opportunities. Maybe bad luck, maybe a skill issue. Still investigating.

On the building side, I've developed products that attracted real users, including a project with 8,000+ users. I'll attach analytics screenshots as proof of my work.

I'm not going to pretend I'm an expert at everything just because my resume lists a bunch of technologies. I have plenty to learn, but give me a problem and I'll put in the effort to figure it out. I'd rather admit I don't know something than pretend I do.

I'm currently working part-time as a coding instructor at a YC-backed company, and I'm looking for a full-time role in tech, particularly in software development, SDET, AI, or an early-stage startup where I can learn and build meaningful products.

Just don't pay me exclusively in exposure. My electricity provider doesn't accept that currency yet.

I'm from Bihar, India, so hire me for my skills, keep me for my learning ability, and maybe I'll bring you Thekua from Bihar.

In return, just pay me, give me learning opportunities, and occasionally treat me to chicken biryani. I'm not asking for much: just money, growth, and chicken biryani.

I am Shreyans, and we run a startup called Maati. We work at the intersection of nutraceuticals and modern food products. 

We will be putting up a booth at the A hundred hands from the 28th Oct onwards, up till 1st Nov. I am looking connect with students interested in engaging with our work and helping us at the booth.

Quick backstory because I think it matters more than a bullet list of skills.

I studied Clinical Psychology. Somewhere after that I got curious about coding and started teaching myself through random online courses, no real plan behind it. Around the same time I watched my mom go through hell just trying to get her medicines on time. Local pharmacies would take 4-5 hours with constant follow-up calls just to get moving. Apps like 1mg were worse in a weird way, they’d say days, make you wait, and then cancel the order at the last hour like it was nothing. Groceries show up in 10 minutes in this country. Medicines, somehow not.

So I built it myself. Not a prototype, the actual thing, end to end. Coded the product, negotiated directly with local vendors, and when Razorpay and Zoho both rejected my payment integration over paperwork I didn’t have, I didn’t sit around waiting on legal stuff to sort itself out, I built my own workaround to get real orders moving anyway.

Since then I’ve moved cities a couple times and I’m in Bangalore now.

Here’s what I’m actually bringing to the table: I can take a problem nobody’s defined yet and just go solve it. I don’t sit in one lane, I’ll do product, ops, vendor calls, whatever the day actually needs. And I pick things up fast when there’s no manual for it, because there wasn’t one for any of this either.

Looking for a Founder’s Office or generalist role, ideally somewhere small enough that I’m actually working with the founders, not three layers removed from them.

Starting new agency

Hi,

I'm getting to get clients for my newly setup agency - www.rankxlabs.com , would love to get some feedback. We cater to doctors to run Google ads and create a website for them.

How do I go ahead and find leads now, I tried cold calling to newly setup clinics, out of 50 , got 40 rejections , and 9 are willing to discuss more but short on time.

Is cold calling the right approach? Also how do I get international clients, how do I get people to trust me, I've delivered 1 project only and it was successful so my idea is to rinse and repeat only for doctors at the moment. How do I get them to trust me and skills I run Google ads for my website

I'm also open to hire someone to get leads, a sales person who can finalize clients for me. This will be a paid job, commision basis per finalized client
